Hey guys, Intern Esther here. If you missed the Grammys last night don’t worry, I’ve got all of the-I’ll use the word ‘interesting’-highlights right here because the 2017 Grammy’s was definitely a night to remember. From Lady Gaga body rolls, to James Hetfield’s (Metallica) failed mic and of course Adele’s apologetic F bomb filled intro during her tribute to George Michael. It’s OK Adele, we still love you. And who can forget Rihanna’s bedazzled flask making its appearance. She was turnin up! And I think it’s safe to say everyone else was wishing they would have brought one too.
Honorable tribute performances were made on behalf of the late George Michael, Prince and Phife Dawg. Where A Tribe Called Quest, Busta Rhymes and Anderson Paak made a bold statement by literally knocking down a wall in protest of “President Agent Orange”. I think you know who they were referring to.
Aside from the little mess ups and awkward body rolls the Grammys was filled with unforgettable performances by the amazingly talented Bruno Mars, a very pregnant Beyonce and Best Rap Album winner Chance The Rapper. Needless to say it’s interesting to see the difference in music over the years. Music is always evolving and that’s a whole other story by itself but say what you will, it’s always a show at the Grammys and this year proved just that.
What was your favorite part of the night?
