Hey guys, it’s Dizz! So last Saturday I had quite the adventure… My mom ran her 25th marathon (wow)! This wasn’t just any race, the Ogden Marathon is known for its rough terrain and crazy weather. Many seasoned marathoners were picked up on buses, suffering from hypothermia. My mom was sticking it out like a champ but I could tell she needed some extra encouragement. I decided to meet her at mile 16 to cheer her on the rest of the way. It was great to see the community get together to support everyone who worked so hard for that day, but most of all I was happiest to see my mom reach a life long goal. I was so proud to cross that finish line with her! Although there may have been times she wanted to get on that bus, she never gave up. She is an inspiration to everyone around her and my hero!
