Talk about a wild game between the Oakland Raiders and the Dallas Cowboys this past Sunday night. People may say that the game was decided when Raider’s QB Derek Carr fumbled the ball in the end zone with 30 so seconds left to go. I was very heartbroken to see that my Raiders may not likely make the post season after an incredible previous season.
“Both teams needed to win to keep their playoff hopes alive.”
Well the most interesting play came on a 4th and 1 for the Cowboys. With maybe millimeters and a possible overturn for the Raiders, ref Gene Steratore used a card to confirm the first down for the Cowboys. From what we hear, this is the first time using anything to pinpoint the tip of the ball to the chains. Both teams needed to win to keep their playoff hopes alive. Again, heartbreaking loss for the Raider Nation.
Here is the explanation of using the card by official Gene Steratore.
