That tweet has the internet going nuts! Roseanne Barrs’ tweet referred to former Obama aide Valerie Jarrett as the offspring of the “Muslim Brotherhood & Planet of the Apes”.
The tweet has since been deleted, but ABC caught on and canceled her popular show reboot just as fast as the tweet went out.
After the fiasco, Barr apologized and said she was leaving Twitter. Her absence from twitter was only hours before she was back online and blaming her tirade on Ambien. “Guys I did something unforgivable so do not defend me. It was 2 in the morning and I was ambien tweeting…”, Barr wrote.
Drugs and the internet certainly don’t mix.
