Last weekend the Triple Crown was electrified by an outstanding win from American Pharaoh. At the Belmont Stakes on Saturday, American Pharaoh galloped to a Triple Crown historical win. Three races in three states and American Pharaoh trotted them all. To become one of the world’s greatest horse in 37 years to clinch the win. 13 horses prior were one race away but could not make the grade. In the past, horses were trained to run long distances. In today’s world not so much. Emphasis is put on fast and short but American Pharaoh topped them all.
