Let me tell you, I have been a fan of the NBA Slam Dunk Finals since the classic Jordan and Dominique rival days. My old school dunk knowledge goes back to the Dr. J vs David Thompson match that started it all.
With all that said, some of the greatest dunk championships have been nothing but epic. Remember Spud Webb, Dee Brown, and of coarse the invincible Vince Carter? Well this year’s Verizon Slam Dunk Finals took it to the next.. if not.. the peak level! Who knows if it will ever be topped?
