Trey Songz is probably relieved to find out that the criminal charges that were against him have been dropped.
The rapper attended a Kansas City Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium in January when an altercation with the police broke out. Songz didn’t have a mask on and when asked to wear one due to COVID-19 protocols, he became upset throwing a punch at one of the police officers. He was arrested for assaulting a police officer, trespassing, and resisting arrest. The charges have been dropped due to “insufficient evidence” as stated by the Prosecutor’s Office for Jackson County, MO.
