Last month D.R.A.M. announced he’d be dropping the “Big Baby” portion of his name. Nobody will reach the level of name change like Puffy has though. On a more serious note, it’s been so dope seeing his journey. The first time I met him was when he flew out to SLC to play unreleased music at the station (now known as his self-titled album) and even came through to visit DJ Dizz with me and did an impromtu performance of “Cha Cha” on a school night. Fast-forward a year later and I booked him for U92 Green Fest and he KILLED IT. The broccoli was definitely on deck in the green room (word play for days) the moment he walked in.
