A Pittsburgh native, Wiz Khalifa was the perfect person to throw the first pitch at The Pirates’ final home game, however, MLB will definitely not be inviting him back.
Wiz walked out onto the field dawning a “Legalize It” t-shirt and putting his fingers to his lips as if he was smoking a joint. As his display was broadcasted on the jumbotron, he definitely made his statement.
Parents were angered by the incident and took to social media to express their disappointment in the stunt while at a “family-friendly” sporting event. MLB also released a statement saying that they do not condone his actions and made it clear that the use of marijuana is prohibited in the organization.
