I grew up to the voice of Princess Leia saying: “Help me Obie Wan Kanobi, you’re my only hope.”, “Scruffy looking nurf herder!” and “I have a bad feeling about this.” So it was hard to learn about Carrie Fisher’s death at age 60. Another great being has been added to The Force.
Her death was confirmed in a statement issued by the publicist for Billie Lourd, Fisher’s daughter. The statement by Simon Halls said: “It is with a very deep sadness that Billie Lourd confirms that her beloved mother Carrie Fisher passed away at 8:55 this morning,” Her death was followed from a heart attack she suffered on a flight from London to Los Angeles.
At that same time of her death, I created a video and posted it on our Instagram and Facebook page having some fun with a gift I received for Christmas from my son, Kendrik. Was it meant to be? All I know is I am still saddened from the news of Fisher’s passing. R.I.P. Princess Leia.
