After the Warriors’ Utah “nightlife” comments sent Twitter into a frenzy last year, Steph is stirring the pot once again.
Here’s a refresher on last year’s controversy:
ESPN asked the Warriors if they preferred Los Angeles or Salt Lake City nightlife during downtime between games. Then-Warriors forward Matt Barnes answered, “There’s no such thing, man. There’s no nightlife in Utah.”
Andre Iguadala added, “The problem with Utah is that you’re just sitting there and your mind is, like, dead, because in L.A., you still got energy for the game… but in Utah, it can kind of lull you to sleep.”
Chaos ensued.
So when Steph visited SLC’s ‘Escape Key’ experience, he couldn’t resist posting a photo with the caption, “#nightlife”.
