Many of us don’t have the luxury of going to school without working to pay for tuition — but maybe there’s a smarter way to do it. These 10 companies will pay for your school while you work for them!

1. AT&T (via

“After being employed for at least one year, employees at AT&T may be eligible to receive up to $3,500 per year for approved courses and educational experience, with a lifetime maximum of $20,000 for undergraduate expenses and up to $25,000 for graduate expenses”

2. Best Buy (via

“Active, full-time employees of at least six months who are working at least 32 hours per week may be eligible to receive up to $3,500 per year for undergraduate coursework and up to $5,250 for graduate coursework through Best Buy’s tuition assistance program.”

3. Comcast (via

“Employees of Comcast can be reimbursed up to $5,750 per year for undergraduate and graduate educational expenses. The company also has its Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program, which awards students more than $1,000 per year.”

4. JetBlue (via

“The JetBlue scholars program covers the cost of JetBlue-approved online courses. Employees who have worked for JetBlue for at least two years and have at least 15 college credits are eligible for the program.”

5. Starbucks (via

“Starbucks wants its employees not only to learn how to make amazing espressos, but also to get a college education. The Starbucks College Achievement Plan, a collaboration with Arizona State University, offers full tuition coverage for all full- and part-time partners in their pursuit of a bachelor’s degree. And the Pathway to Admission program helps employees who don’t qualify for admission to ASU get up to speed tuition-free.”

“All employees of Verizon are eligible to receive up to $8,000 per year of tuition reimbursement. Verizon says it provided $94.1 million in tuition assistance to employees in 2015.”

“Part-time employees of UPS are eligible to receive up to $5,250 in tuition assistance per year, up to a lifetime maximum of $25,000. Eligibility begins on the date of hire. Also, most full-time UPS employees started at the company as part-time or non-manager employees, including managers and executives!”

Employees at Chipotle can, according to the company website, go to college for “as little as $250 per year.” It’s all because of a partnership with Guild Education, and the perks are available to both part- and full-time employees. These include tuition assistance, discounted classes, and credit for on-the-job training.”

9. Home Depot (Via

“Tuition reimbursement is offered to Home Depot associates after 90 days of service. Part-time hourly employees in this program receive up to $1,500 per year, full-time hourly employees receive up to $3,000 per year, and salaried employees up to $5,000 per year.

Half of their reimbursement goes toward books and course fees, and the other half covers tuition-related fees.”

“Chevron employees can receive educational support benefits up to 75% of the costs of tuition, books, and qualified fees for approved courses.

An employee writing on Glassdoor notes that to qualify for Chevron’s tuition support, your education must be relatable to your position or career plans for a future position within the Company.
