Students at Copper Hills High School in West Jordan wanted to raise awareness about Children with Cancer after hearing a story about a teacher that lost a loved one to Brain Cancer. The students put out a challenge to follow students as well as teachers and other staff to shave their heads. The event was held during an assembly on Monday afternoon at the High School.
The hope is they could raise thousands of dollars to help fund a cure for Children with Cancer.
