UNRESTRICTED INTERVIEW: CORDAE

Alfonso Palacios

“I LOVE SALT LAKE CITY”

Its not often you meet an artist that gives you chills when they speak, Cordae is that artist.  When he said he’s coming for a Grammy I felt him, when he spits lyrics in his raps such as “I ain’t going nowhere 20 year career minimum” I know for a fact we have an artist that is going to give us more than just raps, he’s giving us a legacy.

Having the opportunity to sit-down with this young brotha and talk about music, life and the future was great.  Of course there are so many other questions I would like to ask him but I also wanted to respect his time.  In talking with Cordae he made it very clear that he loves our city and will come back.  Check out the full conversation below.

Unrestricted with Dre Rawka (3P-7P) Being named “The Peoples Champ” Drerawka is definitely that. For more than 10 years Dre has been involved in the Salt Lake community rather if it’s delivering turkeys and gifts for families in need during the holidays or providing entertainment, Dre has been consistent. Born in Salt Lake City and raised in Portland, Oregon by a single father. Dre found his way back to Salt Lake in 2005 where he graduated from Cottonwood High School and pursued entertainment. Hosting shows around the valley at a young age Dre found his voice by being authentic, honest and humble. Dre never waited for an opportunity rather he went out and created his own opportunities while helping uplift others. Being a true creative learning audio and video production is one thing he is very happy about. Dre has many great qualities but if asked he will tell you he prides himself on being a model father and husband.
