Two is Always Better Than One.
Since the beginning of December, Big Sean has teased his Double or Nothing collaboration with producer Metro Boomin.
I ain’t done wit 2017 yet…

The tweet caught me off guard and I was hopeful for a second Big Sean album in the same calendar year. I was too hyped when it became clear he’d be dropping Double or Nothing so soon and he was hyped as well.
Man I’m too hype to drop 2 projects in one year, this the perfect way to finish 2017 strong! I’m honored to be able to do this 4real!

Metro’s record label, Republic Records, shared an interview just hours after the album was released. The two ended up exchanging questions and thoughts about the new project after the interviewer was a supposed no-show. They discussed their intentions behind the 10-track project, how it all came together, and the experience of working with one another.
When it comes to Sean’s position in hip-hop, the rapper is either loved or hated. While some will say he’s underrated (like I believe), other hip-hop fans are quick to call the rapper overrated, and as you could see in the interview, Metro believes the hip-hop world doesn’t show Sean or himself enough respect. However, he is hopeful that their new collaborative album will change that.
“I feel like as a rapper, niggas be sleepin’ on you…Niggas underestimate you in certain ways. And I feel like niggas do the exact same thing with me… Still, I don’t get that respect, as a musician. I just feel like this album would be the perfect opportunity and platform to not even really shut it down, but just really to demand the respect.”
Double or Nothing is available now on iTunes.
Big Sean Buys Rockstar’s Pad at Slashed Price
According to TMZ, Big Sean just became the new owner of Slash’s (lead guitarist for Guns N’ Roses) former mansion. The original listing was for $11 million back in 2014 and recently dropped the price to $9.5 million last year. Sean must be good at negotiating to get the pad for $8.7 million. Now did he purchase the mansion because he got a rockstar deal or did the home theater, backyard pool/volleyball court, and in-house stripper pole help out with the decision? The house is located in Beverly Hills, California and consists of 7 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, and is 11,000 sq. ft.
Sean is bouncing back to the City of Angels. Last December, Sean sold his $1.925 million home in Hollywood Hills West. Before making the move, he nicknamed the three-story bachelor pad “The Trilogy.” Sean won’t be too far from friends either. His “Holy Key” collaborator DJ Khaled also resides in the Mulholland Estates community, where the home is located. Khaled purchased his pad for $9.9 million in January.
Life seems to be going well as Sean is in good spirits.
The world is based off the energy you give. So if u love me I love you, if you hate me I still love you, cus I ain’t got time to hate. Facts
