Fetty Wap released his self-titled debut album on September 25th, and was able to enjoy the hype around his accomplishment until a day later he crashed on a motorcycle riding in his hometown, Paterson, New Jersey.
Wap was taken to a local hospital and placed in stable condition, after being treated for possible fractures.
His management made a statement later to Rolling Stone that expressed his family’s thanks to fans and supporters for reaching out.
“His family wants to thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support. They ask that you respect their privacy during this time,” the statement said.
Aside from his epic motorcycle crash, Wap is still stoked about the release of his album and what it brings to the hip hop world.
