What a freakin’ weekend! I was so happy to see the Raiders defeat the Denver Broncos after losing the last 8 match ups. The Raiders surprised the world with a 15-12 win in Mile High.
More impressive was the rushing game of first round draft pick, Linebacker Khalil Mack! Mack’s performance dominated Denver during the second half with 5 sacks all in one single game. Those 5 sacks would tie the Raiders record set by Oakland great, Howie Long! After the game, Raiders QB Derek Carr told the second year pro linebacker “I see why they took you before me”, referring to last years NFL draft.
