Showtime has ordered the TV adaptation of the 1999 movie, The Wood.
The movie starred Omar Epps, Taye Diggs and Richard T.Jones. The movie followed three black men born and raised in the gentrifying suburb of Inglewood. The TV version will follow the three men as they try to balance fatherhood, ambition and loyalty. They will try to determine if they are growing closer or growing apart.
