While performing in Hawaii last night, Ashanti cut the music to scold fans who were throwing money at her while she gave a choreographed lap dance to one of her dancers.
“I’m gonna need you to stop throwing that money, I’m not a f—–g stripper, okay?”, she said while pointing to a few people near the stage. Those fans were allegedly employees at a nearby strip club, whose owner later ridiculed Ashanti on Instagram. “WAIT Ashanti ain’t that you in your background video throwing money? And aren’t you giving a lap dance?…you broke hearts tonight, girl. We were just tryna show love.”
