An unidentified animal casually strolled through a live shot on KUTV’s 2News This Morning while reporter Megan Saxton seemed completely unbothered. Many viewers commented on the video saying the animal is a mountain lion, while others said it was just a dog.
The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources eventually got involved, tweeting at KUTV to say that they “will visit the scene this morning and look for tracks or any other signs to help positively identify the animal.”
Later, Morgan Saxton confirmed that “They believe it’s a dog, based on the paw prints.”
