HBO has just announced that Winning Time, the series based on Lakers’ Dynasty, has been renewed for season 2.
This series was created by Adam McKay and had over 1.2 million people watching the latest episode which helped encourage HBO’s decision to renew the series for another season. Season 1 will end on May 8th and the whole season will be available to stream on HBO Max after the season 1 finale. EVP of HBO Programming said, “This series not only tells the riveting story of the Lakers’ rise, but is also a look back at a transformative era in basketball, celebrity, and the city of Los Angeles. We can’t wait to see how this team will tell the next chapter of this dynasty.”
