For many years I have wondered if a scratch DJ could become part of a traditional orchestra? Most musically trained geniuses would say no way! I’ve even heard many traditional orchestra instructors say that scratching is not music. There have been DJ’s who added their touch to orchestras in the past. But this DJ is definitely a big part of the concerto!
What makes this arrangement special is DJ MR SWITCH is a DMC World Champion DJ, performing with the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia. I need to have my son join the orchestra at Cottonwood High School now!
