One of the biggest Native American Pow Wows in America happens in Albuquerque, NM during the spring. The yearly event brings so many Indigenous tribes in to one place. Gathering Of Nations is all about culture and celebration.
It’s so wonderful to see the people of this land express their talent and the love of Native dancing. The scene is so colorful as the arena is filled with dancers in amazing regalia moving in unison with a drum beat.
This is my second year performing on stage at GON’s Stage 49 with artists Honey and Writtyn. This stage is set right outside the main arena and features some of the most talented Indigenous people from all over the world.
Later that night I experienced one of the dopest MC battles this year at the Gathering Of MCs at the Launch Pad in downtown ALBS. Honey and I also performed live and killed it.
Can’t wait to rock out with all the tribes of this land again next year!
