Pusha-T was a guest on The Daily Show Tuesday night.
Trevor Noah asked him about a lot of subjects. One of the most interesting moments was when Noah asked Pusha about Kanye West wearing the MAGA hat. Pusha compared wearing the hat to donning a KKK hood.
Since Kanye produced Pusha’s album, that had to lead to some conflict. Pusha told Noah, “Can you imagine having those conversations while he’s trying to make my album? He basically has my life in his palm and I have to tell him that I hate something. We always have real conversations, though.” Pusha continued, “I think that’s why me and him connect so well and I think that’s why DAYTONA came out so well. It’s a give and takes. If I don’t like something, I say it and he tries to correct it, and so on and so forth.”
